Digicash has won the Jury Prize of Accenture Innovation Award Belgium and Luxembourg for Financial Services 2012.

Digicash was selected among 98 candidates from Belgium and Luxembourg. An independent expert jury, consisting of well-respected professionals from the financial sector, have judged the concepts on their levels of innovativeness, viability / market potential and market performance.

Mpulse's approach of an innovative financial service seems to be shared by the sector according to jury member and director of direct channels at ING Bank Quinten Fraai's following statement:

We had a few long sessions with lively debates. I am especially interested in the impact of innovation on the customer experience. How does novelty facilitate the consumer's life? In my opinion, this is the direction to be taken by innovation in the financial sector. The jury also chose an innovation that will have a concrete impact on the market. We were also very pleased that the nominations came from the most diverse organizations. It is not necessary to be a large company to imagine a successful innovation with significant impact.

Digicash is aiming at creating a Mobile Payment ecosystem by integrating all typical participants. This is why Mpulse wish to thank all its partners for their trust and their encouragements in its Mobile Payment enterprise. We also wish to congratulate KBC bank for winning the Public Prize and bankshopper.be for the Runner-up Prize.

In addition to the prestigious prize, Digicash main contact Jonathan Prince was invited this Monday morning to ring the bell that launches the financial markets at the Brussels Stock Exchange. A task he completed with high expectations as the Digicash solution is now aiming at testing its business model.
