ASTRA2Connect is a broadband internet access solution via satellite operated by SES ASTRA. In order to support the visibility of the product, ASTRA Broadband Services needed a dedicated website and an agency to run the project from the ground up.

The microsite strategy offers many advantages. Firstly, it is focused on a single product and therefore better at targeting the potential users. Also, the amount of content being smaller, our team was able to propose a very simple information architecture. Secondly, although we stayed within the brand guidelines, we were able to propose a specific, original design.

We took advantage of the advanced templating capacities of the CMS and developed pages based on blocks. In addition to offering interesting layout options, this facilitates content reuse especially in the context of local versions of the website. For instance much of the content is reused across International English, United Kingdom and Ireland local sites.  The website is currently being localized for Europe-wide coverage.
